Dear Experian,
We are looking to sign up to your KYC and AML Regulation service.
Unfortunately, from all the internet devices we have in three different offices, with separate routers and indeed separate telecomms providers, when we try to get past your main introduction page, a security screen pops up…
We trust you will agree that such a warning illustrated don your website as reproduced above, is a bad sign?
Especially when our shareholders are industry professionals, ranging from barristers, doctors, captains, both maritime and commercial aircraft, to accountants and senior officers in the Royal Navy and the British Army. All reputable, and all aware of warning signs such as that shown above, when they are asked to hand over their ID documents and private bank details!
There is a reticence from our director to even ask for this routine compliance information across what appears to be an insecure network.
Please can someone from your highly reputable organisation revert to our managing director, David Rutherford, or our temporarily resigned director, Russ McLean to remedy this security block screen alert? Thank you.
Not just for our own KYC and AMLR compliance, but crucially, our director Russ McLean has just received King’s Counsel opinion that the Registrar of Companies House is suppressing the use of this highly reputable Experian resource.
The sheriff (term for a Scottish judge) ruled against the Registrar at Companies House and in favour of Mr McLean in a matter relating to company directors with disabilities (Mr McLean is disabled).
Mr McLean’s counsel, on his instructions, is seeking to cite the new Company Registrar for infracting the March 2022 Order at Forfar Sheriff Court.
However, rather than just seek some form of additional adverse judgement against the Registrar of Companies House, it is our policy to be constructive.
Ergo, we would seek to have Counsel question the Registrar of Companies House (in private chambers) and seek to have the services of Experian AMLR + KYC and ID validation as an option, from your well reputed and established company.
It was shocking to discover Experian plc., is being suppressed, when there is a catastrophic number of failings and rejections in the current Companies House in-house, notoriously unstable “Verify-ID” system.
Hopefully, this makes sense, and underwrites the importance that accessing basic pages on the Experian plc website, to be met with the unsettling “security blockage” warning is something that needs to be remedied.
