Please can our readers note, Unique Property Bulletin is NOT an estate agency.
We are simply just a group of eccentric friends who have been sharing details of unusual property since we leased this old Lookout Station on Davaar Island in 1984 for just FIVE POUNDS per year. The agreement for the low rental level was that the building would be renovated.
This was the first of many property adventures. Many of our readers have joined subsequent adventures with unique property.

Birthplace of Unique Property Bulletin
The lease ran for a further 7 years, after the owner died, he, obviously was unable to look after the island and we had also moved to London. It was important that the buildings be utilised and occupied as they deteriorate if left unused. So to assist matters, we vacated the lease and keys handed back to the owner’s son with a heartfelt measure of gratitude.
Here is the Davaar island to give you nan idea of what the surrounds looked like. This was a blissful location.

The Old Lookout is a delight and can still be visited. Though the owners charge a bit more than £5 a year now.
